Foundation Training

22 training sessions in a 30 day period is $900. ($700 training & $200 board)

Training Blocks

10 training sessions in a two week period is $550. ($450 training & $100 board)

Both our foundation training and training block programs include a consultation with Jeff to review expectations and to set goals. It is recommended (but not required) that each owner attend at least half the training sessions. RESPECT and RESPONSE is a training program based on communication. Jeff feels that it is just as important for the owner to learn how to communicate with the horse as it is for the horse to learn how to communicate with the owner. If Jeff trains your horse, but doesn’t train you, he feels that he has let your horse down.

While at our facility, your horse will be treated like royalty. Your horse will have his/her own box stall with padded floors and wood shavings. Stalls are cleaned EVERY day. Your horse will be turned out daily, weather permitting, to its own private large paddock. All paddocks have five foot wood fences, grass, water and run-in sheds for shade. Horses are fed twice daily. We supply hay and also feed high quality Purina horse feed. We ask our clients to bring a week's supply of feed if you don’t feed the same brand we do, so that we may integrate the feed change over a week’s time. If you don’t want to switch your horse's feed, please bring enough for the amount of time your horse will be with us. We are also happy to feed your horse individualized supplements if you supply them.

Prior to bringing your horse to our facility, we require a current negative coggins test and vet records indicating that your horse is up to date on all its vaccinations. You will be asked to sign a training contract and release form.

Due to the normal waiting list for our training programs - a   non-refundable deposit equal to one half of the total session fee is required to reserve your place. contact us to reserve your place.

Personalized Training

Horse and Rider: $45/hr at our facility.
At your barn: $45/hr with a $90 minimum plus a travel fee of $0.75 per mile round trip, based on Mapquest mileage.

Trailer Loading Lesson

At your barn: $200 plus travel fee of $0.75 per mile round trip based on Mapquest mileage.

Jeff is always happy to accept a side bet on trailer loading, although we’ve learned a long time ago never to bet against Jeff.

Clinics, Symposiums and Demonstrations

Clinics: Two and a half day educational programs covering a variety of topics. Curriculums can be customized.

Symposiums: Two and a half day educational programs covering a variety of topics. Come watch, learn, but leave your horse at home.

Demonstrations: Two hour demonstrations covering the basics of communicating effectively with your horse.
